What is Puptown Girl Box?

Puptown Girl Box is a subscription box for YOU & YOUR DOG! We make it classy to be a crazy dog lady by delivering modern dog-themed gifts to your doorstep every month.  

What comes inside a Puptown Girl Box?

When you sign up for Puptown Girl Box you  will receive a box filled with 2-3 carefully curated and premium hand-selected, dog-themed gifts for you including, apparel, accessories, jewelry, home decor, art, stationery & more! You will also receive 2-3 gifts for your dog including treats, toys, apparel and grooming products. 

How much does Puptown Girl Box cost?

Our Puptown Girl Box has three different payment plans as follows. Monthly plans are $39.99 USD plus shipping, and you are billed every month. 3 Month plans are $113.97 USD (SAVE %5) plus shipping, and you are billed every 3 months. 6 Month plans are $215.95 USD (SAVE %10) plus shipping, and you are billed every 6 months. All plans and shipping costs are in US dollars. If  you live outside of the US, your bank will automatically convert the charge into your local currency. Exchange rates will apply.  

What age do you recommend Puptown Girl Box for?

The products we include in our boxes are  fit  for ages from preteen to adult however, please keep in mind our t-shirts are in women's sizes.

Is this box only for me? What about my dog?

Puptown Girl Box is for you AND your dog! You will each receive 2-3 gifts every month for you both to enjoy. 

I want to get a Puptown Girl Box but how do I pawsonalize it if I have more then one dog?

We definitely want all of your pups to  receive goodies! As a subscriber you have the ability to to change your pawsonalized preferences (dog size & gender) in your account settings under subscriptions at any time, however please be sure to make any changes by the last day of each month.  After the month we will be busy packing your box in preparation for shipping and changes can no longer be made or if so will not be reflected in that month's box. 

How are the items chosen for the boxes? 

Each box is carefully curated by Wendy & Trish (creators of Puptown Girl Box) with the help of Wag - A posh shop for spoiled pets.  Once a box theme has been chosen, then we work on curating fun and unique items that fit the theme of the box for your pawsome unboxing  experience. We scour the world for high quality, unique and often  handmade products from independent sellers that you may not come across on your daily travels with your pup. We try out and use all of the  products selected in advance to be sure it's something we love and that you and your pup will too! 

How often will I get this box?

You will receive a new Puptown Girl Box  every month. From time to time we will also offer an EXCLUSIVE limited edition box available in our SHOP that you may also opt in to if you wish.

What type of payment do you accept?

Currently we accept PayPal, debit and credit cards from Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. 

What currency do you use?

The only currency we use is US dollars. Currency exchange rates will apply if you are located outside of the United States.  

I thought you were a Canadian company, why are your prices in USD?

We are indeed a Canadian company located in Ottawa, Ontario Canada and proud of it! Please rest assured that the cost of our boxes were calculated in CAD and cost approximately $53 CAD, and were then converted to USD to fit Cratejoy, the leading subscription platform that ensures the best shopping experience for our subscribers. The products we offer include apparel, jewellery, home decor etc. which are often handmade from independent  artisans, therefore every box will offer over an above the subscription price paid.

If I'm not interested in a certain theme, can I skip a month without losing my subscription?  

At this time, only people who are subscribed to a month-to-month plan have  an option to skip a month. Simply log in to your account, and you'll see your current subscription information on the left-hand side. Click 'EDIT button. On the  next page, click the button that says 'Skip a Shipment'. This will show your old renewal date, and your new renewal date. Just confirm the change and you're good to go!  Please note that you can only skip one  month at a time. If you need to skip more than one month, you will need to momentarily cancel your subscription. 

I want to sign up to Puptown Girl Box, but I see that you are currently sold out. What should I do?

Thank you so much for your interest in our boxes! We would recommend joining our Wait List HERE, so that you will reserve your spot in line for upcoming boxes.  

How does the Wait List work? By joining the Wait List am I guaranteed to receive a box that month?

Once you have confirmed your email address on the Wait List, you reserve your spot in line for upcoming boxes. When new boxes become available we contact the next people in line on the list, and send  them a private invitation link via email. We continue to do this until we have contacted everyone on the current Wait List. If we still have any boxes left over, we then open the website to the general public.   

Why is my credit card being declined? I know it works; I use it all the time!

We're a Canadian business, and as such  non-Canadian banks will view your Puptown Girl Box purchase as an  international transaction. For some reason, a  handful of US banks disable international transactions by default. No  worries though! To fix the problem you simply need to call your bank and ask them to  enable foreign transactions. Your card should then work!   

Your boxes sold out before I had a chance to sign up. What can I do?

More boxes may become available due to  failed renewals on the 15th of every month. If we have enough extra boxes we'll alert people on the Wait List first!  

Shipping & Tracking 

For which Countries do you offer Tracking?

'Door-to-door' tracking can be obtained for the following 26 countries: Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Great  Britain and Northern Ireland, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal,  Singapore, Spain, and Switzerland. If your country is not part of this  list, tracking will be provided until your package leaves the United States. From there, it is up to you to contact your country's postal service to determine the whereabouts of your package.  

How long does it take for my Puptown Girl Box to arrive?

Boxes are shipped within the first 7-11 days of the month. Delivery time of your box depends on where you are located. Most customers within the US will receive their boxes 2-5 business days after shipping. Most customers within Canada will receive their boxes within 4-8 business days after shipping. Most international customers will receive their boxes within 7-21 business days after  shipping. These are estimated times, and may vary due to customs clearance.  

Why isn't my tracking number updating?

You will receive your tracking number a  few days before we actually ship your Puptown Girl Box. Once we've shipped your Puptown Girl Box between the 5th & 7th of every month, your tracking number should begin to update. If your tracking number still hasn't updated after the 11th of the month, please contact us at support@puptowngirlbox.com so we can look into it!  

Do you ship to my country?

Yes! We ship worldwide! We want everyone who is interested to be able to subscribe. Different shipping rates apply, and we're not able to provide  tracking numbers to every country but EVERYONE is welcome to sign up! 

How much is shipping to my country?

Currently our shipping costs are as follows: USA $8.00, Canada $13.00, International $20.00. ALL SHIPPING COSTS ARE IN US DOLLARS  

I'm local to the Ottawa area, is there a way I can forego the cost of shipping and pick up my box?

Yes! Upon checkout you can choose to use the PROMO CODE "OTTAWAPICKUP" to forego the cost of shipping and pick up your box (when notified) at Wag - A posh shop for spoiled pets located at 1071Bank Street, Ottawa (at Sunnyside) Free parking off Sunnyside.  

When will my Puptown Girl Box be shipped to me?

We ship between the 7th-11th of every month. Orders placed up until the 4th day of the current month will ship out between the 7th-11th of the month. Monthly re-bill is charged on the 15th of every month! 


For example: If you purchase your subscription on the 1st of January you will be charged that day and you will receive our February box between the 7th-11th of the following month! You will be charged a re-bill fee on the15th of February for your February box after you have received your first box!

Which carrier do you use to ship your packages?

We are currently using United States  Postal Service (USPS) for all of our US and international shipments and Canada Post for  our Canadian shipments. You can track your packages at http://www.usps.com. and http://www.canadapost.ca respectively. 

Can I track my Puptown Girl Box shipment?

Yes! Once your Puptown Girl Box has  shipped, you will receive an email confirmation which includes a tracking number. You can track your packages at http://www.usps.com and http://www.canadapost.ca respectively. 

Can I change my address if I've moved?

Yes of course! You can simply log in to your account on puptowngirlbox.com and edit your information. Please be aware that we will need your new address by the last day of the month (at least one week before shipping day). We  begin printing shipping labels on the 4th, and once a shipping label has been printed we can not alter it. If you need any help with updating  your address, please let us know at support@puptowngirlbox.com

I am an international customer. Will I have to pay any additional fees?

Depending on your countries laws and  regulations, you may have to pay  additional customs fees. Sadly, this  is beyond our control. In our experience this doesn't happen very often. You may also be subject to a small fee from your bank for purchasing  from a foreign country. Again, this is NOT a fee from Puptown Girl Box  and you should discuss it with your bank.  

Accounts & Billing 

When will I be billed?

If this is your first time signing up you will be billed immediately for your first subscription. After that, you will be billed on the 15th of the month for your next box.  

How do I log in to my account?

You can always log in to your account by clicking the "LOG IN" button in the upper right hand side of our home page

What can I do within my account?

Once you have successfully logged in to  your account, there are a variety of different things you can control and access. You can edit your account settings. This includes your email and password for the account. You can edit your shipping address. If you have moved recently, or  you noticed a mistake with your address,  please edit this as soon as possible to ensure that your Puptown Girl Box is delivered to the right place! If you need to update your credit card information, this is also the place to do that! On the left hand  side of the screen you will see your ACTIVE  SUBSCRIPTIONS. If you click the 'EDIT' button, you will be taken to a page where you can see the different options for your subscription. If you click 'Skip Next  Renewal' this will allow you to skip your next billing cycle. This page is also where you can change your plan to either the monthly, 3 month, or 6 month plan. This is also where you go if you need to cancel your subscription, or if you need to reactivate an already cancelled plan. If  you have any questions about your account or how to use any of these features, don't hesitate to ask us at support@puptowngirlbox.com. 

How do renewals work?

When you sign up to Puptown Girl Box you  will be charged immediately for the  subscription box plan you have  chosen (monthly, 3 month, or 6 month plan). Once your  subscription cycle is over, you will be re-billed for the same cycle until you decide  to switch to a different plan or cancel your subscription. For example:  Monthly Plans: Renewals take place on the 15th of every month. You will be charged for one box every month unless you have changed your plan. 3 Month Plans: Renewals take place on the 15th of the month, after you have received 3 Puptown Girl Boxes. You will be charged again for another 3 boxes, unless you have changed your plan. 6 Month Plans: Renewals take place on the 15th of the month, after you have received 6  Puptown Girl Boxes. You will be charged again for another 6 boxes, unless you have changed your plan. 

My renewal failed. I don't want to lose my subscription! What can I do?

Don't panic! You have until the last day of the month to make sure your credit card information is updated correctly. Our system will automatically attempt to charge your card the following day. Update your info and you'll be all set! 

Refund & Exchange

What's your Refund and Exchange Policy?

Puptown Girl Box subscription boxes are  NOT eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds unless products are damaged or missing. In the event that your box is returned to us due to an incorrect or invalid mailing address, then we can either 

1.  Issue you a refund less the cost of shipping (see Shipping Fees above), or  

2. We can ship your box to your corrected address after you pay the shipping fee for us to re-ship your box. Please note:  Refunds can take up to 5-10 days to show up on your statement depending on how quickly your bank and/or credit card company processes it.  

Damaged or Missing Products  If you happen to find that a product has been damaged during shipping or in the rare case that a product is missing altogether, please let us know as soon as possible by emailing  us at support@puptowngirlbox.com and send clear photos of the damaged item(s), the packaging, and the shipping label. Photos must clearly indicate the identity of the  product. Due to our highly fluctuating inventory, the email and photo(s) must be received by us within seven (7) days of you receiving your shipment. Validity of the damaged or missing item(s) will be determined at the discretion of our support team. We cannot guarantee that we will have the specific item(s) in stock, but we will try our best to make it up to you! Any replacement products will be shipped with your next month's box. 

Cancelling Your Subscription 

I need to cancel my subscription. How do I do this?

We're sad to see you go! (insert sad puppy  dog eyes here). Simply login to your account at puptowngirlbox.com. From there you will see a list of active subscriptions. Click EDIT to get into the subscription and then click CANCEL SUBSCRIPTION. You will be billed for any subscriptions remaining in your cycle, but   your subscription will not renew after that. If you have any questions  whatsoever regarding cancelling please get in touch with us at cancel@puptowngirlbox.com.   


Monthly Rebillable Subscriptions can be canceled at anytime in your Account settings. If you’ve already been billed for this month’s box, your cancellation will take effect in the next billing cycle. 


Our discounted 3 & 6 month packaged subscriptions may also be cancelled, but you will be charged for the entire term until the subscription period is over. For example, if you choose a 3 month subscription at the discounted rate and want to cancel after the 2nd month then you will still be charged for the 3rd month and receive a box! But you will not be re billed after this! The purpose of the packages are to insure you are subscribing for a longer period of time which gives you the benefit of the discounted rates!

When do I need to cancel to ensure I am not billed again for the next month?

Make sure you cancel your subscription by the last day of the current subscription month. Otherwise, you will be billed again on the 15th of the next month and will receive the next box.  

I had to cancel my subscription in the past, but I wish to join again. Am I able to do this?

Pawsome! We're so happy to have you bark  (insert tail wag here). All you need to do to begin receiving Puptown Girl Boxes again is to log in to your account.  You will see your subscriptions on the left hand side of the screen.  Click the 'EDIT' button. On the next page you will see a button that says 'REACTIVATE SUBSCRIPTION'. You will have to select which plan you would like, and re-enter your information, including credit card info. If you have any issues in reactivating your account, please email us  right away at support@puptowngirlbox.com and we'll help you out!  

Reviewer, Vendor, Dog Rescue & Media Inquiries 

I'm a business selling items that would be a good fit in your boxes! How do I get my items into a box?

Wonderful! Send us more information about your business/products to  submissions@puptowngirlbox.com. You must also be willing to send us FREE samples of the items. Unfortunately, due to the amount of inquiries we receive, we can't respond to every email. If we're interested in your items we'll let you  know!  

We are a dog rescue, how do we become a beneficiary of one of your boxes?

Pawfect! Please send us more information about your dog rescue including non-profit/charity registration number to rescue@puptowngirlbox.com.  Unfortunately, due to the amount of inquiries we receive, we can't respond to every email. If we're are able to add your rescue as a beneficiary we'll let you know!  

I would like to run a giveaway on my blog/website. Are you able to donate one of your boxes?

This depends on the different types of  promotions we already have planned for the current month, but we'd love to hear more information!  Please email us at submissions@puptowngirlbox.com with the subject line: GIVEAWAY PROMOTION, and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.  

I have a YouTube channel/blog. Will you send me a free box in exchange for a review?
